V886: Novel Hole Transport Material (HTM) for Perovskite Solar Cell

 Research on perovskite solar cell recently receives much attention. Among them, we have to develop excellent hole transport materials (HTM). Nazeeruddin et al. have reported a novel HTM containing carbazole structures, V886 (V0146). Some advantages of V886 are the simple synthetic pathway at a low cost and higher glass transition temperature compared with those of Spiro-MeOTAD. The power conversion efficiency of a perovskite solar cell using V886 was 16.91% as reported in 2015, which was comparable with that of a Spiro-MeOTAD device (18.36%).
