Isosteviol is a hydrolysis product of stevioside [S0594], which is a natural sweetener produced in the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana.¹⁾ Isosteviol has been reported to exhibits wide biological activities including anti-hypertension, controlling blood lipid, reducing blood glucose, antibacterial, anti-inflammation, anticancer, etc.^2,3) Besides, isosteviol is used as a useful chiral building block in organic synthesis.^4-6) (The product is for research purpose only.)
