Phenylphenothiazine (PTH) Derivatives

Phenylphenothiazine (PTH) is one of the key components in organic semiconductors, that serves as both a hole transporting material for solar cells¹⁾s and an organic electroluminescent material.²⁾ Additionally, it has attracted attention as an organic photocatalyst³⁾ and a catalyst for organic atom transfer radical polymerization (O-ATRP).⁴⁾
