Aucubin: An Iridoid Glycoside with Extensive Biological Effects
Aucubin is an iridoid glycoside commonly found in traditional medicinal herbs such as Aucuba japonica (Garryaceae) and Eucommia ulmoides (Eucommiaceae). Aucubin has been reported to have significant and extensive biological effects, including antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic, anticancer, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective, and osteoprotective properties.1) Aucubin is involved in many signaling pathways and exerts its regulatory effects.2-4) (The product is for research purpose only.)
