2,3-Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propionitrile: A Selective Agonist on Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ)
2,3-Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propionitrile (commonly known as diarylpropionitrile) is a selective agonist on estrogen receptor beta (ERβ). It exists as a racemic mixture of two enantiomers, R-form and S-form. Evaluations of the enantiomers as an ERβ antagonist have been reported.
