Ozagrel Sodium: A Selective Thromboxane A2 (TXA2) Synthetase Inhibitor
Thromboxane A2 (TXA2) is a type of thromboxane that is produced by activated platelets during hemostasis and is also a potent constrictor of smooth muscle. Ozagrel sodium is a selective TXA2 synthetase inhibitor and blocks platelet aggregation and reduces bronchial muscle hypersensitivity. In clinical, it has been used as a therapeutic agent for ischemic heart diseases, thromboembolic disorders, cerebral circulatory disorders and asthma. (The product is for research purpose only.)
