Picloram: A Synthetic Herbicide with Auxin-Like Activity
Picloram is a synthetic herbicide with auxin-like activity used to control deeply rooted herbaceous weeds and woody plants. Auxin herbicides possess action similar to the natural auxin indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) [I0022], an integral plant hormone affecting cell growth, development, and tropism. And then, it has been reported that auxins are toxic to plants in large concentrations. (The product is for research purpose only.)
