Safinamide: A Na, K Channel Modulator and Monoamine Oxidase B (MAOB) Inhibitor
Safinamide is a sodium and calcium channel modulator, and also inhibits monoamine oxidase B (MAOB) which is an enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of monoamines. Safinamide is used for the treatment of epilepsy and Parkinson's disease (PD). (The product is for research purpose only.)
