Valnemulin Hydrochloride: A Semisynthetic Antimicrobial Agent belongs to Pleuromutilins
Valnemulin hydrochloride is a semisynthetic antimicrobial agent belongs to pleuromutilins special for animal. It is mainly used for preventing and controlling mycoplasma, Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria infection in pig, bovine, sheep and other poultry. Recently, several studies have been reported that pleuromutilins bind with domain V of 23S RNA at ribosome of pathogenic microorganism, to inhibit peptidyl transferase, to inhibit synthesis of protein, and finally resulting death of pathogenic microorganism and exerting antibacterial activity. (The product is for research purpose only.)
