LDN-212854: A Selective Activin Receptor-Like Kinase-2 (ALK2) Inhibitor
LDN-212854 is a selective inhibitor of activin receptor-like kinase-2 (ALK2) which is a member of the type I BMP receptors. BMP plays a fundamental role in the regulation of bone organogenesis through the activation of receptor serine/threonine kinases, and BMP signaling regulates many different biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and embryogenesis.
