Green Fluorescent Dye BDP FL

Boron-dipyromethene (BDP) is a green fluorescent dye with high absorption coefficient and fluorescence quantum yield¹⁾ and it is utilized in various imaging applications due to its sharp excitation and fluorescence spectra. In fact, the use for imaging in living cells has been reported.²⁾ For example, BDP FL (carboxylic acid) used as a building block and BDP FL NHS ester which reacts with amines can be used for the synthesis of fluorescent probes and the modification of proteins such as antibodies.
