Dodecanoic acid (lauric acid) has been reported to inhibit biofilm formation in Candida albicans1) and enterohemorragic Escherichia coli (EHEC)2). In addition, the compound was demonstrated to inhibit persister cell formation in E. coli BW25113 and enterohemorragic E. coli EDL933.2)
