Application
Silylating Reagent for GC-ECD
Experimental procedure:
The substrate (primary alcohol) is dissolved in pyridine and 1:1 mixture of pentafluorophenyldimethylsilyldiethylamine and pentafluorophenyldimethylchlorosilane is subsequently added. This mixture can be directly used for GC-ECD analysis. In the case of tertiary alcohols, the derivatization is completed by reacting for 10 min at 25 °C.
The substrate (primary alcohol) is dissolved in pyridine and 1:1 mixture of pentafluorophenyldimethylsilyldiethylamine and pentafluorophenyldimethylchlorosilane is subsequently added.
