Application
Thiobencarb: A Systemic Pre-Emergence Herbicide Inhibiting Shoots of Emerging Seedlings
Thiobencarb is a systemic pre-emergence herbicide that acts by inhibiting shoots of emerging seedlings. The mechanisms of action has been reported to be inhibition of protein synthesis (α-amylase synthesis induced by gibberellin) through the competition at auxin-acting site seemed to be one of the mode of actions of the herbicide. (The product is for research purpose only.)
