Efficient Fe/Cu Co-Catalyzed C-N Cross-Coupling Reaction
Liu and Zhang have reported efficient C-N cross-coupling reactions of arylamines with bromoarenes, co-catalyzed by iron(III) acetylacetonate [Fe(acac)3] and Cu(OAc)2•H2O in the presence of K2CO3 in DMF at 135 ºC for 20 h. This reaction condition is also suitable for the cross-coupling of benzylamine or heteroarylamines with aryl bromides.
