Description
Streptavidin, a biotin-binding protein from Streptomyces avidinii, frequently exhibits lower levels of non-specific binding than avidin. The biotin-streptavidin complex is used in a variety of applications, including Western blotting, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Storage
Store at －20 ºC to －80 °C prior to reconstitution. After reconstitution store at 4 °C. For extended storage after reconstitution, freeze at －20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
