Globo-series oligosaccharides play important roles in cell recognition and signal transduction, and are closely linked to development, cell differentiation, immune responses, and tumor progression. Globo-H is highly expressed in breast and ovarian cancers, making it a valuable target for cancer diagnosis and therapy.1) SSEA-3 and SSEA-4 are well-known markers of pluripotent stem cells and serve as indispensable research tools in regenerative medicine and stem cell biology.2) Gb3 has been reported to be highly expressed in breast, colorectal, and ovarian cancers, and lymphomas, is recognized as a tumor marker and therapeutic target. It is also known as a receptor for Shiga toxin, making it an important molecule in infectious disease research.3) Thus, globo-series oligosaccharides are critical research targets in cancer research and regenerative medicine, with promising applications in diagnosis, therapy, and stem cell research.
We have an extensive line-up of mouse monoclonal antibodies, synthetic glycans, and glycan conjugates pertaining to globo-series oligosaccharides, perfect for regenerative medicine / cancer research applications.
Binding Specificity of A2506, A3703, A3729, A3742 and A3776
ELISA plates were coated with the indicated glycolipids. Subsequently, anti-Globo-H antibody (Product No. A3703), anti-SSEA-4 antibody (Product No. A3742), anti-SSEA-3 antibody (Product No. A3729), anti-Gb4 antibody (Product No. A3776) and anti-Gb3 antibody (Product No. A2506) were added to the wells and allowed to incubate. Primary antibodies were detected using appropriate secondary antibodies. Each antibody showed high specificity for each antigen.
