Menaquinone-4 (other names: MK-4, Vitamin K2) is the predominant homolog of vitamin K2 produced by microorganisms, and is ubiquitously present in extrahepatic tissues. Recently, vitamin K2 has emerged as a potential protector against osteoporosis, atherosclerosis, and hepatocarcinoma. (The product is for research purpose only.)
