Bosutinib: A Potent ATP-Competitive Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor
Bosutinib (SKI-606) is a potent ATP-competitive tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Bosutinib has been reported to inhibit the Bcr-Abl kinase, which promotes chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Inhibition of Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase activity or signaling proteins activated by Bcr-Abl in CML cells blocks proliferation and causes apoptotic cell death. Bosutinib is also inhibits the phosphorylation of cellular signaling proteins, including Src-family kinases (Src, Lyn, and Hck) and STAT5. (The product is for research purpose only.)
