Arctigenin: A Lignin with Wide Pharmacological Actions
Arctigenin and its glycoside, arctiin [A3118], are lignans found in many plants of Arctium lappa L. (AL, family Asteraceae)1). Arctigenin reportedly has wide pharmacological actions, such as antitumor2,3), anti-inflammatory4-6), and antiviral7,8), and anti-Alzheimer9) actions. (The product is for research purpose only.)
