Application
Arctiin: A Lignin with Wide Pharmacological Actions
Arctigenin [A3117] and its glycoside, arctiin, are lignans found in many plants of Arctium lappa L. (AL, family Asteraceae).1,2) They reportedly have wide pharmacological actions, such as antitumor3,4), anti-inflammatory5), and antiviral6) actions. In addition, the emission spectra of arctiin by fluorescence spectrometry has been reported.7) (The product is for research purpose only.)
