Mianserin Hydrochloride: An Antagonist at 5-HT2 and α2-Adrenergic Receptors
Mianserin hydrochloride (GB 94) is a tetracyclic antidepressant with combined serotonergic–noradrenergic mechanism of action. It is an antagonist mainly at 5-HT2 and α2-adrenergic receptors, and increases serotonergic (5HT) [S0370] and noradrenergic (NA) [A0906] neurotransmission. (The product is for research purpose only.)
