Application
Nilotinib: A BCR-ABL Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor
Nilotinib (AMN107) is a BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Nilotinib binds to and stabilizes the inactive conformation of the ATP-binding site of the BCR-ABL protein with higher affinity than imatinib [I0906] [I0936 (mesylate)]. In vitro, nilotinib inhibited BCR-ABL-mediated proliferation of murine leukemia cell lines. (The product is for research use only.)
