Application
Donepezil Hydrochloride: A Reversible Inhibitor of the Enzyme Acetylcholinesterase (AChE).
Donepezil hydrochloride (E2020) is a reversible inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Donepezil activates central cholinergic nervous system by increasing the concentration of acetylcholine (ACh) in brain through reversible inhibition of its hydrolysis by acetylcholinesterase. Donepezil hydrochloride is used for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. (The product is for research purpose only.)
