Description
Protein L is a cell wall molecule from the bacterial species Peptostreptococcus magnus. It binds immunoglobulin light chains in a wide range of species including human, mouse, rat, pig, and hamster, and can bind to any immunoglobulin isoform containing a kappa light chain (IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, and IgD). Recombinant Protein L is produced in E. coli and shows minimal to no differences in function between itself and native protein L.
Storage
Store at −20 °C to −80 °C (Preferably at −80 °C). Storage at 4 °C is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
