Description
This product contains 100 µg of recombinant human EGF produced in E. Coli, lyophilized from a 1mg/mL solution containing 1x PBS. Recombinant human EGF comprises a 53 amino acid-length, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, with a molecular mass of 6.2kDa. Apart from being a potent mitogenic factor, EGF stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of epithelial cells, and is a common medium additive in both 2D and 3D cell culture.
