Application
Guanabenz Acetate: A Centrally Acting α2-Adrenergic Receptor Agonist
Guanabenz acetate is a centrally acting α2-adrenergic receptor agonist with low affinity for I1-imidazoline receptors. In mild to moderate hypertension, guanabenz is as effective as methyldopa [D1817] and clonidine [D1353] in lowering blood pressure. (The product is for research purpose only.)
