Tiapride Hydrochloride: A Selective D2 Dopamine Subtype Receptors Antagonist
Tiapride hydrochloride is a selective D2 dopamine subtype receptors antagonist without any affinity for subtype receptors of the principal central neurotransmitters, such as serotonin [S0370], noradrenaline [A0906] and histamine [H0146]. Tiapride belongs to the benzamide type neuroleptics, which all may share unwanted effects, hyperprolactinemia and QT-interval prolongation. (The product is for research purpose only.)
