		Ethyl lauroyl arginate hydrochloride is a preservative derived from lauric acid and arginine.  It is active against a wide range of food pathogens and spoilage organisms, and is widely used as a highly potent food-grade preservative.1,2)  There are reports that it shows the effect on the bacterial cell membranes.3,4)  (The product is for research purpose only.)
