Harpagoside: An Iridoid Glycoside with Remarkable Biological Properties
Harpagoside is an iridoid glycoside that was first isolated from Harpagophytum procumbens which is used as an anti-inflammatory traditional medicinal plant.1,2) It has been reported that harpagoside suppresses lipopolysaccharide-induced iNOS and COX-2 expression through inhibition of NF-κB activation.3,4) (The product is for research purpose only.)
