Application
Saracatinib: A Highly Selective Dual Inhibitor of c-Src and Abl Tyrosine Kinases
Saracatinib (AZD0530) is an oral, highly selective dual inhibitor of c-Src and Abl tyrosine kinases.1-3) Saracatinib has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in a c-Src-transfected 3T3 fibroblast xenograft model in vivo.1) However, while saracatinib was well tolerated in humans, there were no responses and it did not show sufficient efficacy in cancer patients.4) More recently, saracatinib has been investigated in other indications, including Alzheimer's disease.5) (The product is for research purpose only.)
