Application
Mosapride Citrate: A Selective 5-HT4 Receptor Agonist
Mosapride citrate (AS-4370) is a selective 5-HT4 receptor agonist with documented stimulatory effects on gastric and colonic motility with no affinity for 5-HT1 and 5-HT2 receptors. Mosapride is also active through its main metabolite, the de-4-fluorobenzyl metabolite (M-1), which is a 5-HT3 agonist. In addition, mosapride does not bind to D2 dopaminergic receptor. (The product is for research use only.)
