Useful Pd(II) Catalyst for Cross Coupling
Reactions

Palladium compound 1 catalyzes the cross coupling reaction of acid chlorides with tetraorganotin compounds to give ketones under mild conditions and in high yields¹⁾. The reaction is tolerant of a wide variety of functional groups both on the acid chloride and the tin reagent, thus making this reaction a useful method for ketone synthesis. Palladium compound 1 is an excellent catalyst, giving higher reaction yields and shorter reaction times than other palladium catalysts.
