Angelicin: A Furanocoumarin with Diverse Biological Activities
Angelicin (isopsoralen) and its angular analog of psoralen [P2077] are furanocoumarins, contained in the fruits of Psoralea corylifolia L. (Fabaceae) which is an important medicinal plant well-known as a traditional Chinese medicine “Buguzhi”.1,2) It has been reported that angelicin has diverse biological activities, including photobiological,3,4) antifungal5) and antibacterial6) activities. (The product is for research purpose only.)
