Dynasore: A Cell-Permeable Small Molecule Inhibitor of Dynamin
Dynasore is a cell-permeable small molecule inhibitor of dynamin which is known as a key player for membrane traffic. Dynamin is a GTPase protein that is essential for membrane fission during clathrin-mediated endocytosis in eukaryotic cells. Therefore, dynasore has been used to analyze the inhibitory effects of dynasore on dynamin in vitro and to study the effects of dynasore on endocytosis in cells.
