4'-Demethylepipodophyllotoxin: A Key Synthetic Intermediate for the Preparation of Podophyllotoxin-Type Anti-Tumor Agents
4'-Demethylepipodophyllotoxin is a key synthetic intermediate for the preparation of podophyllotoxin[P1771]-type anti-tumor agents, including etoposide [E0675]. 4'-Demethylepipodophyllotoxin is also an antimitotic agent which binds to monomeric tubulin, preventing micro-tubule polymerization. (The product is for research purpose only.)
