MHY1485 is a cell-permeable activator of mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) which a serine/threonine protein kinase that controls critical cellular processes such as growth, proliferation, and protein synthesis. MHY1485 has been shown to inhibit autophagy. For your reference, the best-known inhibitor of mTOR is rapamycin [R0097].
