Application
Mirabegron: A β3-Adrenergic Receptor Agonist
Mirabegron (YM178) is an agonist of the β3-adrenergic receptor (β3-AR) with potent selectivity over the β1- and β2-ARs. There are reports that mirabegron relaxes the detrusor smooth muscle during the storage phase of the urinary bladder fill-void cycle by activating the β3-AR, thereby increasing bladder capacity. In clinical, mirabegron is used for the treatment of symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB). (The product is for research purpose only.)
