Application
Clozapine: A Dibenzodiazepine Agent with Effects on Various Receptors
Clozapine is a dibenzodiazepine “atypical” antipsychotic agent. The precise mechanism of actions is not fully understood. However, it has been reported that the therapeutic efficacy of clozapine is mediated through antagonism of the serotonin type 2A (5-HT2A) receptors. Clozapine also act as an antagonist at adrenergic, cholinergic, histaminergic, dopaminergic and serotonergic receptors. (The product is for research purpose only.)
