[1,3-Bis(2,6-Diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene](3-chloropyridyl)palladium(II) dichloride [B6199] , an N -heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-palladium complex crystalline solid is stable against air and moisture. B6199 efficiently catalyzes various types of C-C and C-N bond forming reactions such as Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling, Buchwald–Hartwig amination. Easy removal palladium after reaction has been reported.

Alkylating Reagents Containing Phosphoric Ester Groups for Prodrug Design

Phosphoric esters are widely used in the field of prodrugs to modulate lipophilicity/water-solubility and to improve bioavailability compared to the parent drugs. Dibenzyl chloromethyl phosphate [D5828] and di- tert -butyl chloromethyl phosphate [D5835]  enable facile introduction of phosphoric ester groups to various nucleophiles. Moreover, D5828 and D5835 have protective groups with different deprotection conditions, which can be used depending on the desired synthetic route.

TCI introduces the C(sp3)-H arylation of THF in combination with quinuclidine and a photoredox catalyst Ir[(dFppy)2(bpy)]PF6[B4944] . The reaction was performed at room temperature, however the internal temperature rose up to 40 ˚C due to the insufficient cooling. Nevertheless, the reaction proceeded without any problems.
