Application
Trimethylsilylating Reagent for GC
Experimental procedure:BSA is added to free amino acids or hydrochloride (5-10 mg), and allowed to react by heating for 1-2 h at 80 °C or for 0.5-1 h at 90 °C. Mainly Bis-TMS adduct is obtained from the free amino acids, whereas tris-TMS adduct is obtained from their hydrochlorides, respectively.
