SB 216763: An ATP-Competitive Inhibitor of GSK-3α
SB 216763 is reportedly an ATP-competitive inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase-3α (GSK-3α) in vitro with an IC50 value of 34 nM. GSK-3 is a serine/threonine protein kinase, and inhibition of its activity has been proposed to play a role in the regulation of numerous signalling pathways that elicit cellular responses.
