Picroside II: The Major Bioactive Component of Picrorhiza kurroa
Picrorhiza kurroa, the dried rhizome of Picrorhiza kurroa ex Benth, is a well-known traditional medicinal herb. Picroside II, a glycoside derivative, is the major bioactive component of Picrorhiza kurroa. It has been reported that picroside II has diverse biological activities such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic activities. (The product is for research purpose only.)
