A Synthetic Intermediate of Enkephalinase Inhibitors
This product has been used as a synthetic intermediate of enkephalinase inhibitors, such as racecadotril [R0103]. Enkephalinase is an enzyme that break down the endogenous enkephalin opioid peptides. In clinical, racecadotril is used in the treatment of acute diarrhea.
