Application
Benztropine Mesylate: a centrally acting dopamine transporter (DAT) inhibitor and a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist
Reportedly, benztropine mesylate inhibits dopamine transporter (DAT) protein, and diminishes the excess acetylcholine activity as a Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist. In clinical, benztropine mesylate is used for treatment of Parkinson's disease. (The product is for research purpose only.)
