Application
Methylprednisolone (medrol): A Glucocorticosteroid with Potent Anti-Inflammatory Activities
6α-Methylprednisolone (medrol) is a classified as a glucocorticosteroid which cause profound and varied metabolic effects. In addition, they affect immune system. It is reported that medrol has a more potent anti-inflammatory effect than cortisone [C1317] and hydrocortisone [H0533]. Furthermore, medrol has far less effects of electrolyte as a glucocorticosteroid. (The product is for research purpose only.)
