Toepassing
Clodinafop-propargyl: An Inhibitor of the Plastid Acetyl-Coa Carboxylase (ACC)
Clodinafop-propargyl, an herbicide, is an inhibitor of the plastid acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) of grasses. It also inhibits growth of some parasites, such as Toxoplasma gondii. Reportedly, clodinafop-propargyl has low water solubility but it is very soluble in certain organic solvents, such as acetone and toluene. It hydrolyzes only slowly in water under acidic conditions but is rapidly hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions.
