Sophoridine: A Valuable Bioactive Quinolizidine Alkaloid
Sophoridine is quinolizidine alkaloid which is an active component of Chinese traditional medicines, which exists in the stems and leafs of leguminous plant Sophora alopecuroides L. and the roots of Sophora alopecuroides Ait. It has been reported that it has anti-tumor,1) anti-arrhythmia,2) anti-viral,3) and anti-inflammatory and immune suppression4) activities. (The product is for research purpose only.)
