Glycoursodeoxycholic Acid: A Secondary Bile Acid with Some Bioactive Effects
Glycoursodeoxycholic acid (GUDCA) is a secondary bile acid, and is a bile acid-glycine conjugate compound. It is reported to have cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory effects.
