Phosphine Ligand
No.136(December 2008)

Compound 1 is a highly-fluorinated phosphine ligand which readily forms complexes with a variety of transition metals. For example, 1 has been used as a ligand for palladium complex catalysts for the synthesis of allenes.1) Moreover, the complex formed between 1 and gold(I) salts has been used as a catalyst for oxycarbonylation to obtain corresponding oxycarbonyl compounds in enhanced high yields compared to the reaction using the corresponding complex with triphenylphosphine as a ligand (AuPPh3Cl).2)
